It is inscribed on the walls of the Veterans Hospital.  

Because these Veterans cared enough to serve and place their very lives on the line we are free. Free to agree and even disagree with one another and even our government without fear of reprisal.

What can you do? Show your veterans you care, Volunteer at your local VA hospital (Long Beach VA, Los Angeles VA or Loma Linda VA) or cemetery (Los Angeles or Riverside).  Want to get involved with disabled veterans sports programs? Contact Wounded Warrior Project.

Donate to the Disabled Veterans SCUBA Project.  This non-profit is bringing a the opportunity for disabled veterans including those who  are paralyzed or blind to learn to SCUBA dive.

Lest we forget America's POWs and MIA's. These brave servicemen are still unaccounted for. Help keep pressure on congress for a full accounting of our missing servicemen and women. Help to bring them home.

Our special thoughts and prayers to those currently serving overseas in harms way.  Living far from home they are not only enduring hardships and danger but are missing so much of their life here at home. We wish you well and an swift return home.
